Just for Educators: Bats of Arizona Workshop
The Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering a Bat Week workshop for educators that focuses on the diverse bat species in the state. This hands-on workshop will provide participants with classroom-friendly activities, resources and teaching strategies aligned with the Arizona science standards. Attendees will explore concepts like scale, structure and function, while learning to integrate phenomena-driven exploration into their lessons. Open to educators of all grade levels, the workshop will be held at the North Valley Regional Library in Anthem.
Participants will receive numerous resources and a certificate for at least 5 hours of professional development credit.
