PHOENIX — Time is running out to enter the 19th annual Conservation First USA raffle to hunt up to seven of Arizona’s big game species.
Raffle tickets are available for $10 each for a chance to win any of seven Arizona Special Big Game Tags, which are awarded by the Arizona Game and Fish Commission, to hunt bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer, pronghorn, bison, and turkey.
The organization also is offering an “All 7 Package,” which includes one raffle ticket for a chance to win all seven hunts. Those who purchase the package for $70 also will receive a free entry to win a Swarovski Optics package.
To order: https://conservationfirstusa.org/product/arizona-special-big-game-tags/. There is no limit on how many raffle tickets can be ordered. The deadline is 9 p.m. (Arizona time) Sunday, July 7.
The names of the winners will be drawn on or before July 15. Winners will be contacted by phone and mail within two business days of the drawing. Once confirmed, a list of winners will be published on the organization’s website at https://conservationfirstusa.org/.
The purpose of the raffle is to raise funds for wildlife conservation efforts. Every dollar raised for each species through the raffle is returned to the Arizona Game and Fish Department and managed by the Arizona Habitat Partnership Committee (AHPC) for that particular species. In the 18-year history of the raffle, more than $11 million has been raised for wildlife management in Arizona.
Winners will be permitted to hunt for 365 days between Aug. 15, 2024 and Aug. 14, 2025, in most game management units statewide.
